The wig looks good from the front, but they skimped on the back, so it looks like there’s a bald-spot in the back. (I was disappointed.)

If nobody will see the back of your head, then it’s a good purchase.

Does anyone remember the name of the fable........?
Where a wife rolls up a beggar in a carpet..if Chinese rugs I remember correctly she killed him then tried to cover it up. I know its something about a beggar & a carpet or rug. I think its of Chinese or Japanese orgin.....

It’s a Halloween wig. I only expect them to last the ONE NIGHT and I think this one will do that just nicely. A little more fuzzy and dull than in the picture and kinda like a short wig with a tiny LONG mullet in the very back. I’ve been a medieval woman for about 10 years straight always wearing a velvet dress and a long blond wig looking like something out of Braveheart so this will be fun. Not NEARLY as flattering of a wig on me as on the tiny model. I have a big, Scandinavian square face. It’ll be fun to try and be a geisha though. You can also see lots of netting through the hair and LOTS of hair falls out just putting it on your head but the chopsticks are FABULOUS and I like the half up, half down aspect. The bangs aren’t really straight. I’m gonna gently take a brush to this and maybe trim carefully with scissors and it should be good to go!

I personally have experience with Chinese fans. I took Kung-Fu for a while and learned how to fight with really awesome looking ones. So when this one arrived, I didn’t expect the high quality tough fan I had been used to, but this thing was flimsey as all hell. It still holds it’s shape and such but if you opened it too fast or roughly the spines in the middle might break. It is very elegant and made from thin wood, but it doesn’t quite open or close that smoothly. Other than that, it’s made of paper and would rip if you miss treat it. For my purposes, it was fantastic, albeit not as tough as I would have liked.
