By keeping this region poor and under control, European counties and USA can easily leech resources for cheap prices for example the currency, 1 American dollar is 70 times more valuable then an Indian rupee. The currency system is one example of inequality among the poor countries compared to the western countries. Sad reality, brushed under the rug but reality is reality.
