Blog on Shipping Oriental carpet
I like these. I wash them in my machine’s heavy duty/hot water cycle (I know I’m not supposed to, but I like my bed linens to be super sanitized!) and dry them on high — and they are still in great condition.
What the best (and cheapest) way to ship a large oriental carpet?
I wanted to send it freight UPS, but they Shipping Oriental carpet said it'd be almost $700 to ship! Its about an 8x11ft oriental that weighs about 70 lbs rolled up. Also, do I need to get a box or do you just use plastic? Where can I find one that big to fit a rug in?

I only use it when I go out at a busy place where keeping my purse in my view is important.
For the price, this is a pretty decent cover for the iPad and I actually like how the stand works because it is fairly secure and adjustable. It isn’t leather but it at least it seems to be reasonably well constructed. My real problem with this (and all similar cases) is that it doesn’t do a good job of protecting the iPad if you drop it. The corners of the ipad are complete exposed. I know. The ipad case slipped from my hand and hit straight on the edge. Fortunately, the iPad suffered only a very minor scratch but it convinced me that this wasn’t enough.
