My rugs bleeds on the carpet....?
I have a handmade camel hair rug from Kazakhstan that is mostly red.It is probably 6x10, a big rug and it weighs a lot.; obviously not washable. The Handmade rug only problem is I can't use it because in my new house has off white carpet, and the rug dyes bleed onto carpet, mainly in high traffic area over the rug. It leaves red dye on carpet. Is there anything I can put on the backside of the rug or anything I can put under it to keep it from staining my carpet? Are there any products out there for something like this?
