How can you beat a neighbor at his own game?
We own a townhouse, and the townhouse next to us is rented out by the owner. Whenever this old man comes to collect rent and do simple yard clean-up, he goes out of the way to piss us off.There are bushes in between our half-shared driveways, which are not mine, and presumably his. He trimmed HALF of each bush (on his side) and left the other half overgrown. He also mowed a SMALL patch of grass past the bushes up the driveway, but left 6 inches uncut, out of a foot-wide area of grass (the mower is wider than that). WHAT AN ASSHOLE! He's going out of his way to piss us off and half-ass his chores as a landlord Runner Area rugs to the family next door. I'm not age discriminating, but he's an old, grumpy man who gives grief to the renters (we've been told this by the couple of tenets who've lived next door there over the years), and he makes sure his mower doesn't accidentally use itself to it's full capacity.I'm not trying to get free yard work (the grassy area is about the same area of a runner rug in the hallway of a house). But it's hard to master these types of shared yards, and unnecessary for me to buy a damn mower to mow for three seconds (literally). We've approached this man in the past while he was blowing his clipping onto MY DRIVEWAY, and all he did was throw a hissy fit and grumble his words and walk away.I need creative ideas to pretty much play back at his game, show him he's a selfish idiot, and give him a hemorrhoid from anger. I thought about chopping the bushes in half (the half on "my side" of the driveway), killing the grass on "my side" of the driveway, and sticking an ugly pink flamingo on "my side" of the driveway...Cut in half, or course. The more suggestions, the better.Please, cut the Kumbaya crap about "learn to hold hands with your neighbor." I'm stressed out about this, and a great way to ease stress is to have fun with this situation. Help me be creative, and a ass back! :-)
