I got to have it back...but how?!?
I lost my promise ring today when I was outside raking/picking up the yard. I'm not used to wearing a ring and we got it a size too big, even though the sizer I read said otherwise. I'm pretty sure I lost it when I started using my hands to sort of shove leaves into the garbage can I was using by laying it on its side and scooping. That sort of motion was the only one I could think of that would cause it to slip off. Before I began to do that I'm sure I looked at my finger Knotted Pile rug not thinking that I would be doing anything to lose it anytime soon. So I think it was that pile, the biggest pile. So anyway I dumped the leaves I scooped from that pile into the nearby woods area. Most of it is in the same area...BUT that's a lot of leaves in a place that's already leafy and has plants surrounding the pile. So I think I know the pile but how do I find it? It's a silver ring, and it has an eternity knot around it and it's average thickness. So I think it would make it's way to the bottom of the pile right? I WANT MY RING. I want to burn up that whole pile so it would be sitting there waiting to be polished but I can't. I it's not like I haven't looked for it. I even checked the piles I dumped before I used to scooping method. Maybe a leaf blower? Or would that blow it away too? It's also hard to sift because I dumped the leaves on a slanting into the woods hip. Do you think If I search for it all day scrupulously that I can find it? How would you get it back from the leave pile/woods?
