Meaningful hints on Made kilim Pillow

We looked for a diaper bag for quite a while in several babies’ stores (both physical and on-line), and I can say that you will find nothing else that is:

- Convenient;
- Trendy;
- Well made;
- With the right pockets in the right places; and
- easy to use

as this one here!!! And I really recommend you to check video reviews and to go to the manufacturer’s website to see the video explanations of the bag.

It is not cheap (but sometimes it is on sale at Amazon), but it is worth every penny!

Though it is not huge, so if you are one of these people that need LOTS of space, this might not be the bag for you. You may try the bigger version instead.

Was your choice based on Made kilim Pillow research you did, or on the encouragement of a religious friend or family member? What was the final determining factor that made you choose your religion over any other?

I got this Netbook cover to use for my Kindle. It’s a little big, but that allows me to put the Kindle, with the cover, into it. The cover is decorative, but practical, as the design has a laminate type surface that will wipe clean.

The cover is lightweight, but offers protective padding providing added protection. Another feature I particularly like is that the zipper isn’t just across the top, but goes down the sides just a little, which makes it easier to get your device out of it. This would be particularly helpful if it was a more tight fit.

This is the most attractive inexpensive netbook cover with the most features I’ve come across for storing my Kindle.

I realize this is designed for Netbooks but as a mother with two young kids, I have found this to be an excellent sleeve for their viedo games and cartriges as well as the portable car DVD player. The sleeve has a nice modern black and white design and a fushia purple interior padding. The cover has a plastic coating, making it easy to clean and moisture/spills that may occur. Also included is a durable shoulder strap.A great value with multiple uses.

I was so excited to be able to get this slip case for my netbook, but when I got it, it was just a hair too small.

Construction wise- it is wonderful. Water resistant, nice tight zipper, and a carry handle if you want to do that. There is also a very soft purple lining inside and a decent amount of cushioning in it. Unfortunately, I can not think of what to use it for- my Kindle is too small, and everything else is too big.

But the design is nice and attractive. Outside is smooth and shiny where the antique white is but matte where the black design is. Good solid product. I am just so sad it is too small. The measurements that would have made more sense would be 7 1/2 by 10 inches with a little room to spare squeezing it in the case, but very little. My netbook is slightly bigger than that. I would like to give it 5 stars but since I can not fit my netbook in it, I can not fully high rate having not used it fully to see how well it holds up.

Designed for Netbooks, the Acme Made Smart Laptop Sleeve is a nice looking alternative to other similar products that may do basically the same but without the looks.

I got this one thinking about my sister’s NetBook and she just loved it. The thing she liked the most was the design as this is not an ordinary looking sleeve. The design may definitely not be appropriate for a guy (very feminine) but my sister really liked it. She actually ended up using it for an Ipad, the size was almost as if this was made for the Ipad and actually leaves a little room for any add-ons or other things you may want to carry in it. On the other hand, if you do use it for a NetBook as intended, keep in mind that there will be no room to carry batteries or cables.

The design has a glossy looking finish that may not be noticeable in the Amazon pictures, I have added a couple pictures I took myself as a reference on the size and looks. The glossy finish apparently serves a purpose, it is water resistant, so that’s a nice thing to have on a rainy day.

An adjustable strap is included as well.

Bought this for my daughter-in-law – she says it is fabulous!! Very comfortable and holds all that she needs. Says it could even be used for a laptop when she has finished using it for baby.

I agree with Bunny’s Mom review,

    pros:
    - the bag is VERY well made
    - unusual design, especially bottle pockets and the handle, not as boring as regular square messenger bags
    - the wide elastic strap is very comfortable to carry, doesn’t wrinkle shirts or unbutton buttons.
    - lots of pockets inside, removable divider, key fob etc.

    cons:
    - not for 13 inch laptop – main compartment’s zippered opening is too narrow to quickly move laptop in and out. the outer magazine pocket is open and about an inch of a laptop is sticking out – not safe.
    - the recycled nylon material looks sturdy and stain-resistant, but feels a little rougher then I’d like, it’s definitely not silky smooth like some other cheaper nylon bags. which might be a good thing for men.
    - the bottle pockets design look cool, but rings are firm, so it can take getting used to, especially for items other then bottles, like sunglasses or phone. if both bottle pockets are full – they take space from inside and making laptop even more tight.
    - doesn’t have a firm bottom and top is wider then bottom, so unless you put something heavy towards it’s bottom, it will not stand upright on it’s own (but that actually makes is look better when worn or hanging off a stroller, because upright briefcases are square and sooo boring)

  • McGavin :

This is definitely a well-made bag. The ballistic nylon is sturdy and soft to the touch, and the purple color (Eggplant) looks terrific. The stitching is perfect, and has a YKK zipper in the main compartment.

And the innovative strap is very cool, too. Based on the photos, I thought it might be flimsy, but it’s very sturdy, and definitely does make the bag easier to carry: distributes the weight and stays put on your shoulder.

The problem with the bag is its strange overall triagular shape which gives it a narrow bottom. From the outside, the bottom of the main compartment measures only 8″ wide. And if you use the bottle holders, it takes more space away from the bag, and you’re left with less than 4″. So you really can’t fit much in the bag, because the larger items get stuck in the middle. The only way to make use of the bottom area is to stuff it with your smaller items, which make them difficult to find later.

Also, all the pockets are shaped in the same triangular shape, too – they would have to be, naturally, due to the shape of the bag. And it’s the same problem: e.g., I try to put a glasses case in a pocket, and the top is more than wide enough, but I can’t push it down all the way because the bottom is too tight.

I don’t know why the bag is shaped this way, except that it looks kind of funky and unusual. The ergonomic straps are a nice idea, but there’s no functional reason the bag has to have this weird shape. It’s a shame because it’s such a well-made bag, I really wanted to like it.

Anyway, due to its narrow bottom, there’s no way I can fit a 13″ laptop in the main compartment, even with nothing else in the bag. (Believe me, I tried.) The only possible place for the laptop is the back pocket where the changing pad is kept. But that pocket is too shallow, and who would want to carry a computer in an open pocket in the back of the bag?

Because I love the craftsmanship of this bag, and the innovative strap, I’m thinking of getting the Go GaGa Gondola Tote instead. But I was disappointed in the Slide Tote. I would not recommend it.

  • Denney :

This is a very nice bag. It’s light and looks great. My only complaint is that it could have really used some sort of small pocket. I know it’s marketed as a sleeve, but since it does have a shoulder strap, it implies to me that it can be carried by itself. Somewhere to put my wallet or even just credit card would have been nice for when I go out with my computer and don’t want to take another bag along. Other than that, great product!

  • Ervin :

As notebook sleeves go, this one is merely adequate. Aesthetically it’s quite nice with a byzantine design element on the front surface in gray and black. I’ve no issues with the clean lines of the sleeve, nor the design overall.

However, construction quality is not ideal. The sleeve lacks reinforced corners, which pretty much guarantees it will have a much shorter life-span than sleeves that do. The zipper sticks easily. On my first trip through the airport with my notebook in the sleeve I had zipper issues. Maybe I just got a bad zipper, but it’s less than ideal to be fooling around trying to get your notebook out when the line is backing up behind you!

The shiny surface of the sleeve is also very prone to scuffing. I wish it wasn’t as highly polished.

Overall I’d say this sleeve is just ok. If you really love the design, then go for it. Otherwise there are better made alternatives.

  • Faller :

This is exactly what it is advertised as… a low profile sleeve that you can fit in a bookbag, messenger bag etc. Think about Airport security, a lot of times you need to remove the laptop from a bag, but it is fine if you keep it in a sleeve. The whole point of the sleeve is that it isn’t so big it fits your power adapter, lunch, keys, cables, etc. The floral design is a bit girly, but unlike the photo its most of matte black on glossy black. The inside is purple and there is a metal logo plate on front.

All in all I found the construction and quality very high… the padding seems thicker than some of the caselogic laptop bags I have seen and I wouldn’t have any concerns about using this on a long trip.

  • Irvin :

Beautiful and elegant design for my 15″ macbook pro…and even my ipad on top. The case is made for the laptop alone but I use it for both a laptop and my ipad and it works just fine…it has just enough room for both. When I pull it out of my backpack it warrants attention from others around me in that it looks nice and designed well. I have given the product info to many people and they have bought it….its a great product and deserves to be rated highly.

When spending on Apple products (and we all know they cost a pretty penny) it is essential to have good/great protection. This Acme case is that great protection which the laptop requires and it provides a beautiful design to boot…do away with the plain sleeves and add some design to your protection entourage.

    Excellent – 5/5

I love this bag! Every day I receive compliments on it. I travel for work, pretty much on a weekly basis, and so far it’s been great. It holds my laptop, folders, magazines, and books. (I carry A LOT of stuff.) Plus, there are small pockets for other items that you alway need.

  • Foo :

I just puchased this bag in white for my new laptop after researching online trying to find an affordable yet stylish/unique laptop bag. I love the retro look/shape, and the quality of the fake leather. It has a padded compartment for your laptop with multiple pockets for pens, cell phones, folders, battery packs, etc. The coordinating “wallet” is also very fun and chic. It fits my laptop (Dell Studio 1555)with a 15.6 inch screen perfectly. There is also room for a book or two. On another website it stated that this bag was too small for my laptop, so I am glad Amazon provides the bag measurements. This is a great bag for larger laptops. I definitely think that it is very chic, great quality, and perfect for my needs. I also plan on using it as an overnight bag when I visit friends in NYC. It definitely resembles a large purse versus the traditional laptop bag. Love it!

  • Frost :

This bag is amazing! Solid construction, easy to clean and it fits my Dell XPS 16 – 15.5″ screen like a glove. I searched for days for the right bag both online and in shops. The only other bag I was even slightly interested in that would have fit my big laptop was $300. No thanks! This bag fits everything I need – I even bought a small purse that I can take to the cafe on my lunch, coffee breaks or to run other errands. Thanks ACME Made!

  • Niksic :

This bag was a bit larger than I expected, but that ended up being a good thing. It easily fits everything for school into it along with a bottle of water. By everything I mean: mini laptop (or larger), accessory bag with cords, blackberry, mp3 player, pens, 2 composition note books, up to 2 textbooks, keys, credit cards and lipstick. The strap is very comfortable on my shoulder. It is so much better than carrying a back pack!

  • Iglesias :

I received two of these one for the Netbooks and one for 13.1 screen laptops. Unfortunatly
smaller one for netbooks will not fit my Acer 12.1 screen laptop. The model for 13.1 model laptops does fit but is somewhat loose in it. Neither size is a good fit. I really like the color schemes they have and the nice smooth finish too! They do not seem to collect finger prints so that is good.
Now both of them have good padding for a slim sleeve and good strap but no padding for the strap so long term use will be tough on your shoulder. I did not test to see if it was water resistant and will take it at its word on that one.
I will continue to use the 13.1 model sleeve for my Acer 12.1 laptop even though it is not a great fit. Overall I like this one the best for its fit and color scheme.

  • Klaus :

I will state, I am a big fan of notebook sleeves, I have been using Incase products for years, and I have gifted many of them, but they were all a little too tech and not pretty enough for fashionistas.

This case is designed for the fashionista MacBook user who demands style. It actually looks really good. The exterior is very glossy, and black, but the damask pattern is the reason. The case does have a nice simple strap, but I think its better not to use as it looks a little too cheap compared to the design of the sleeve.

What else is there to say, MacBook goes in, zipper is closed and thats it. If you want style in case you wont go wrong here, and it does not have the price of a 5-star dinner from a major fashion house.

  • Millham :

Excellent computer case. It is very stylish and seems durable. It has a nice cusion for my laptop. My 13 inch laptop fits comfortably. The case is easy to carry and is all you need to carry your computer.

  • Iverson :

Larger netbook and smaller laptop/tablet computers are hard to find good carry cases for. It seems that you are either stuck with a very basic sleeve, cheap looking mini bags, or full-blown bags that are larger than what is needed. All seem to serve a purpose, protecting your mini-computer, and yet none seem to completely fit the storage needs for these devices and potential needed items. Make no mistake, this Acme Made Smart Laptop Sleeve is exactly what its name implies; just a sleeve. It’s a well made and stylish sleeve, offering a very decent amount of protection for my 12.1″ netbook. I like the look of this sleeve, and yet the feel of that vinyl side makes it seem a bit cheap. I understand that the smooth vinyl surface makes it look wet and shiny, but it feels like it would likely crack and peel over time.

While this sleeve provides no additional storage space, for things like the A/C charger or a portable mouse, it wasn’t designed to store anything other than a netbook or mini laptop. Unfortunately when I am on the road, I never know if I’m going to be using my netbook a little or a lot. So while I keep my netbook in this sleeve, I also have to carry my A/C charger separately. The sleeve comes with a carry strap, which I guess some may find useful, but I just don’t see the need. The sleeve easily fits in a bag or briefcase, and it also tucks under your arm rather nicely. However, the slippery vinyl surface on the one side could potentially cause it to slip from under your arm.

Overall I find this to be a protective and fashionable sleeve for a netbook or up to a 13″ laptop. It seems well constructed may fit the bill for the right person. However, as a business professional, I feel the look of this product misses the mark a great deal. My teenage daughter loves it, and I will likely end up giving it to her. After owning and using this case for only 2 weeks, I have already noticed small tear in one of the corners of the vinyl. The vinyl is just too stiff and I feel it cheapens this otherwise wonderful product. Also, an exterior pocket is really something they should have included, as there is just no way to even carry paperwork unless you shove it in the main storage area with your computer. I’m not saying this sleeve isn’t a good solution for some people. But I do believe that this is a product that one should view in person before purchasing. Not only do you need to see it but you need to feel it. I think the design and material may be appealing to a young crowd, and for most women. But if you use your computer for business, and want fellow executives to respect you at some degree, I think you should look at different products. Acme actually makes an impressive perforated leather soft sleeve that looks far more grown up and professional.
