We got this robe delivered yesterday. I was a little disappointed only because the embroidary I requested was not on it. So I decided to send them an e-mail.

Today, we got another bathrobe with the embroidary… I guess they sent one without it by mistake and as soon as they caught it, they sent another correct one! That’s what I call customer service. In a day when most company don’t even admit their mistakes, turkishtowels blew me away with their quick response to thier mistake. Highly recommended.

On the robe itself, it’s a very good quality like the ones they have at those 4/5 star hotels.

Which name is correct Persian carpet or Azerbaijani carpet?
http://bugun.blogsky.com/1389/08/11/post-13/Persian Carpet: Another theft of Azerbaijani Heritage and Art by totalitariansMany western and Oriental scholars think that Iranian people are Persian and therefore they use Persian country, Persian art, Persian history, Persian religion, Persian people, Persian culture and Persian carpet. This consideration of today's Iranian people as Persian goes back to time of Achaemenid Empire that Greece source described those Pars or pers. But today Pars or Fars is the name of one of the ethnic groups and provinces in Iran. The true beauty of carpets derives from the people who weave carpets. When we talk about the Persian or Iranian people we are not speaking of one broad ethnic group we are talking about many. While most Persians are Indo European a significant portion are Altaic/Turkic, Dravidian, and Afro-Asiatic. Currently the people of Iran speak 79 different languages and countless dialects. Iran’s population is made up of numerous ethnic groups. The largest ethnic groups of Iran include :Persians(34%), Azerbaijani Turks(34%), turkish rugs Wool Kurds(7%), Arabs(4%), Baluchs(2%) , Gilakis (3%), Mazandaranis(5%) , Lurs(4%) ,Turkmens(3%) and small communities of Armenians, Assyrians, khalajs, Georgians, Pashtuns and etc. Azerbaijani Turks (Azeris) settle in northwestern Iran that is named south Azerbaijan that consists West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Zanjan, Qazvin, Hamadan Provinces and some counties in Kordestan, Gilan, Kermanshah, Qum and Markazi provinces. Since the early 1900s and with organized migration policy, more than 50 percent of Azeris have been migrating to most large cities in Iran, especially Tehran and KarajThe Azerbaijani women are skilful Rug makers using Turkish knots. In contrast to other parts of Iran the Turkish knot is used in the provinces of south Azerbaijan and Hamadan. As is shown in below link, In the Turkish knot the yarn is taken twice around two adjacent warp threads and the ends are drawn out between these two threads.http://www.jacobsenrugs.com/knots.htmIn the Persian (or Sinneh) Knot, the wool thread forms a single turn about the warp thread. One end comes out over this thread and the other over the next warp thread.Major Weaving Centers in south Azerbaijan: Ardebil, Bijar, Hamadan, Qom, Shiraz (qashqaii), Tabriz, Tehran, Zanjan, Urmiya ,Ahar, Farahan, Firouzabad, Garavan, Ghotlog, Heris, Kaboudar, Ahang, Koliai Khamseh, Khoie, Makou, Malayer, Mahabad, Moghan, Mianeh, Nahavand, Qashqaie, Qazvin, Roudbar, , Sarouk, Shahsavan, Tousirkan, Tafresh, Astara, Kaleybar, Sarab, Abiyak, Bahar, Bonab, Maragheh,Qom, etc.Major Weaving Centers in north Azerbaijan (Republic of Azerbaijan):Guba, Shirvan , Baku, Ganja, Gazakh , Garabakh, Shusha , Jabrail, LankaranIn spite of this clear difference in pattern and knot type between Persian and Azerbaijani (Turkish) carpet, Iranian government and Persian trader are introducing and advertising the Azerbaijani carpet in the fake name of Persian carpet in markets. Unfortunately, non-Iranian customers don’t know about this art and cultural robbery that happen in Iran. Non-Persian communities are pointing to totalitarian policies of Persian domination and in addition to culture and art, other heritages of these communities for example language, history, tradition, music, dance and etc are denied.

My husband and I have been going to hotels for years, where we would have these lucious thick white terry cloth/or terry velour robes to cuddle up in. I have searched high and low for anything to come even close to match the quality of these robes..and I finally found it here!!! The weight of these robes are just right, the length is good, although the arms could be a little longer (we are quite tall, and both have longer arms), but they are ok.
The terry loops are just a tiny bit loose, which if not careful, catch on things, but all in all, WELL DONE!!
This is a purchase I would make again!!!
Oh yes, and the merchants were quick and reliable, and I liked the way in which they shipped the robes to me.

I just want to say I am thrilled with this robe. It’s plush and heavy, comfortable, soft and luxurious.Everything you look for in a hotel robe, for far less than other comparable robes on Amazon.Plus a free monogram if you want it.The robe arrived the day after I ordered it,and there was a hand written note in the package, thanking me for my purchase.Talk about personalized service! The Best!

  • Gilliam :

my husband ordered the robe with a gift card he received. It went smoothly, and the robe arrived quickly. It was good quality and just what he was looking for,

  • Mulle :

I love the fact I didn’t have to pay for shipping. The bathrobe is true to size, maybe even a little larger. It is heavy turkish towel and is exactly what I wanted. The quality was true.

  • Eggleston :

I bought this robe for one of my wife’s Christmas presents. I was pleased with the quick shipping. I have ordered many things from Amazon in the past and always been pleased. My wife was glad when she opened this present, but suprised when she noticed her name had been put on the robe. She says that it is long, warm, and comfortable. Her other robe was shorter and not 100% cotton, and caused static charge in the winter. She uses it after the hot tub and stays dry and warm.

This was a Christmas gift for my Son-In-Law and he now thinks I’m the best in the world. It’s everything he wanted.
Thanks for the quick service too.
