Free efficient data on Hide rugs
I bought this slip a few months ago and it has enabled me to feel comfortable in several tight fitting dresses and skirts that I have. The over all smoothing and “holding in” effect is great. I don’t have the problem of it rolling up. I guess it just reacts differently on different bodies, but for me it is great.
How do I get rid or this stain on my carpet?
My neice visited us a few months ago and she moved the rug to play and...well long story Hide rugs short we found a red cool-aid(sp?) stain on the carpet hidden under the rug.It is about 3 months old and is fairly big, about 12 inches across. We live in an apartment with tan carpet. Do I have any hope of getting it out now or is it to late? Any suggestions?

I’ve purchased many Spanx products which I can happily boast about yet I’m very disappointed with this product. I purchased it and wore it under a cotton sundress. As soon as I got out of my car, I felt an annoying wedgy. This went on all day long. Every bending movement I made provoked the panty to slip out of place and accumulate on my behind defeating its purpose.
It was also very tight on the edges in my inner thigh which caused some irritation.
It does have excellent tummy control and doesn’t roll down on the waist but it was a little tight on the waistband which was evident over the dress.
In my opinion, this product is surely not worth it.
I had e.mailed you a few days ago and told you that I had never received it.When I told my Husband,he told me that he did,but forgot to tell me.Sorry about this.I do apoligize for this.Iam also very happy with the item.One thing,this was send regular mail,that is a little dangerous,specially when you not home that day and kids see it in your mailbox,for that matter it also could be a adult.Otherwise I’m very glad everything is okay now.Thanks Johanna Conte.
Several friends recommended Spanx for their shaping and their comfort. The shaping was OK – not wonderful, however, I found them extremely uncomfortable – rolling down, riding up, the elastic pulling on my skin. I was never able to wear a pair for a full day – I went home at lunchtime to change!
Spanx products are effective and comfortable. I own several pieces and love them all!
I purchased this to wear under a dress that was a little sheer. I purchased it in black. I wear a size 14/16 in a dress and ordered the XL. Found that this fit was fine for me. It does it’s job well. I didn’t have any problem with the legs rolling. I chose to wear it with out a bra because really how much confining clothing can one person put on and still be conftrable? The support for the bra area is light, and is more like a sports bra. It did create a sleek shape and most important it didn’t get super hot as I wore it all day at an outside party. Didn’t have any problem using the cotton gusset, which was super important becase I didn’t want to have to dirobe each time I had to answer the call of nature. All in all this was a good purchase. The only thing that I wish is that the bra area had a build in bra that supported more like an everyday bra and less like a sports bra. It isn’t bothersome enough to make me use a bra with this, but I might use a clevage enhancer with it next time so that I look like I have two seperate “girls” unstead of one large “girl”.
I spent a lot of money on an item that is glorified pantyhose. The bust section is so tight that it squashes your breasts flat, and the legs ride up so that the coverage I had just above the knee when I got dressed shortly rode up to mid thigh, which was extremely uncomfortable. I am a size 8: I was just looking for something to help tighten up the loose areas. I hate this thing, and would never recommend it. It’s uncomfortable, and difficult to go to the bathroom in (you can only urinate in it, and even then, you take a chance of wetting either the sides of the hole, which remains gaping afterward, or your fingers. ew).
I love this thing. I have the Spanx shaper that reaches from the waist to calf length. I also have a shaper that reaches from under the bust to mid-thigh. I like both but sometimes I just don’t like the band around my waist. This fixes all of those problems. It is comfortable, breathable, and I don’t get hot in it. Yes, it’s a hassle when you have to go to the rest room but you expect that when you wear a body suit, so deal. This was a good purchase.
I was a little dissapointed with this item because if the sizing and the fit. According to Spanx sizing charts i would be a medium and when i first received it i was thrilled because it fit very snug, was very comfortable, soft and of really good quality. However, after wearing it a couple of times the item began to strech out! The seam that lines the bra top section of the garment at first fit snugly under my breast, was now able to be pulled up over my breast! And i kept having to pull it up to get the support i needed since it kept slipping down. Instead of a snuggly fitting support garment, it was now fitting like regular spandex, with very little to no support. I couldn’t figure out why this happened considering how much i paid for the item. I washed it as directed so it couldn’t have been anything on my end. But since it was worn i knew i couldn’t return it to the vendor I had purchased it from.
SO, I called SPANX directly, explained the situation, and they were incredibly helpful. They told me that their items had three levels of support and that the “Hide and Sleek” line had the LEAST amount of support, and then offered to exchange my Mediums for Smalls to try for the snugger fit i was looking for or another item alltogether with greater support. I opted for the size exchange hoping that the smalls would fit me the way i wanted them to.
Keep in mind that this “streching out” occured after wearing it a couple of times, even though the fit was really snug and great fitting at first. So you might want to consider ordering a size smaller than you think you might need.
This slip does not live up to its promise. It rides up constantly. I even tried the size smaller, and found that it also rides up constantly. The material is very nice and sturdy. But, that doesn’t do much good, when the entire slip ends up bunched up at the hips or waist. I do not recommend this slip whatsoever.
The best thing about this product and that you can wear it all day without thoughts of suicide! Unfortunately it doesn’t provide the same results as the uncomfortable ones either. I guess you can’t have it all.
I like how the Spanx Mid Thigh Smoother doesn’t make much of a line on my thighs when I’m wearing clingy pants or skirt.
However, the waist is too loose and tends to roll down a bit after I’ve had it on for a while. I’m a size 8 / 10, and ordered the Medium size Spanx. My suggestion would be to order a smaller size than you think you need.
I purchased this item, and chose a size (medium) that, according to manufacturer sizing charts, was supposed to fit. My understanding about garments is that if they ride up or curl down, they’re too small. Spanx’ error in this regard is really inexcusable, given the price of their items. I can’t recommend this item, even if you were to buy a larger size than you think you need, because I don’t know if that would prevent the rolling problem. I have found that even wearing a Spanx shaper underneath or over is no guarantee–in fact, the top of the pants rolled DOWN even while the camisole was rolling UP!
This tote bag really saved our you-know-whats on a recent return trip from the Baltics. It was stuffed to the max with clothing and souvenirs–its capacity is quite amazing! It came thru the nightmarish ordeal we endured to get home better than I did. Our luggage got rerouted and we couldn’t get a flight home, so my dd and I lived out of this bag at airports for 3 days. The ONLY downside I had was after lugging it around on its straps for that length of time my hands/shoulders were pretty sore. There’s no padding on the straps so I had to break down and purchase some at one of the airport gift shops. Other than that, this little bag truly proved its worth, and folds to nearly nothing. It will be kept at hand for other emergencies.
My husband thought I was silly when I bought this and brought it along for our trip to Morocco but he changed his mind by the end of the trip! We bought handmade rugs in Fes and were able to cram them into this bag and check it. The bag and the rugs made it through perfectly. This bag is much larger than you would think it would be and the material is really sturdy. I’ll definitely be bringing this along on every trip to haul back our souvenirs!
We recently went to Europe and spent two days out of two weeks at the beach. This was a terrific bag to pull out and use for the beach (and then for “overflow” items we picked up during our trip) and didn’t take up a lot of space. Great purchase, very convenient, lightweight and just the right size. I highly recommend this tote.
This tote packs away in itself until it is needed. It is lightweight, zips closed. Fully loaded, it still fits within the size for a carry-on. Because of the zipper, you could check it if you needed to.
Material is much stronger than most “pack away” totes.
When you don’t need this bag, it folds into next to nothing (both volume and weight) and when you do, it accommodates a ton of stuff in a strong, sturdy, light enclosure that is easy to carry.
If you are ever in a situation where you need to carry stuff one way but not the other when you are traveling, Give this bag a consideration.
They used to have it in colors other than black as well. I wish they offered those again but that does not detract from the five star rating.
The bag tucks away neatly in a purse or laptop bag. I used it when in Rome and bought all souvenirs at the airport and popped open the duffel bag, filled it up and proceeded to board. Very sturdy and solid construction. it was full to the top. The only request I would have is to have an arm strap sling. Carrying by hand may not be the best way to carry around.
